Fratelli Bertoni Costruzioni Generali srl, founded in 1967 in La Spezia, works in the petrochemical, defence, shipbuilding and plant engineering sectors. It is a leader in metal fabrication thanks to decades of experience and outstanding know-how. Its business strategy is built around customer satisfaction, offering safe and certified products.
The company is certified to NATO AQAP 120 and UNI EN ISO 9001 by IMQ Spa. Its main clients are in the oil & gas and defence sectors. It recently obtained a patent for rotor containers.
For Leonardo (formerly OTO Melara and Leonardo-Finmeccanica), Fratelli Bertoni has built the armoured turrets of the "Centauro" and "Freccia" vehicles and the 76 and 127 mm suspended structures installed on navy ships around the world. Part of the work is carried out at the local unit inside Leonardo in La Spezia.
For the Fincantieri group, Fratelli Bertoni has produced high-value components such as stabiliser lines for cruise ships and the trim rudder for the Italian-French FREMM frigate series.
